1 Year for my Blog :) October 20, 2008

I think I am posting a new post after 2 months. I felt I should post some article today because for October 20th 2008 (today) it’s been 1 year for my blog. I started blogging because some one special in my life forced me start a blog. This is my chance to thank him for encouraging me to come so far. For today I got 2602 hits with such a little amount of posts and I am glad with what I have achieved.

When I started my blog I was using an adsl connection and today I came online through a internet prepaid card (It sucks), and it takes ages to load a page. Still I couldn’t get my adsl connection but hope to get it ASAP. Life had changed a lot within this year. sigh…!!!

I hope that I will be able to do something much more better ( I mean more posts)  within the next year. :)


Rosh shifting to another house August 7, 2008

I was so busy with my new life and still busy. I am working and I am going through shit these days coz its my first job . The worst part is my family will be shifting to our old house tomorrow and its going to make a huge issue specially to me coz of my job.

Huge Issues (Drawbacks):

  • No net for almost one month (Its horrible).
  • It will be around 10pm to 11pm to get home when I have to work till 8pm at office.
  • I will be almost dead coz I have to wake up at 5am to go to work (at the moment I wake up at 7am).
  • Have to walk around 1KM to get the bus.
  • No blog posts till I get my net connection back.

I think I will find more *Huge Issues* once I shift there.

Basic idea of this shifting thing is that we are shifting to a Tim-Buk and it drives me nuts :| . This shifting problem keeps on haunting me all the time now :( .

I was being tagged by Pumudu last week I guess :-? and its now I got the time to write my post. After all my exams are done. :D

So here it goes.

  1. I love to spend the day hanging around with my friends. specially going out for shopping and movies :D
  2. Every night I take my dog Buster to my room. Without him I cant sleep :? I wish I had more dogs at home and yes I am getting another puppy next week :D .
  3. I am a facebook addict. I use to be a member of the fighters club too, but felt that I will never do my studies and it was too addicting so I left that application :) . But still I am a facebook addict though.
  4. When I am having a problem I tell that to my doggy Buster and teddy of my cute soft toy collection. My friends and parents say that I am nuts to speak with dogs and toys :?
  5. When I am free I will be reading a book or hanging on the phone or watching cartoons. I love reading psychological books. They are so interesting.
  6. I am scared of worms. I scream my death out when I see a worm :-? :-?
  7. Still I am trying my best to wake up early in the morning before my boyfriend does because he is the one who wake me up every morning by giving me a ring. When I give him a ring early morning thinking he might be a sleep to see he is up :(

80% Attendance May 31, 2008

Level Administrator: “you have no 80% attendance for Marketing Module, So you cannot sit for Final Exams”

Me: “How come mam, I got the highest attendance for the Marketing Module and I appealed asking for my dockets. I got all other dockets except for Marketing”

Level Administrator: “Ok, then go and speak to the academic administrator”

Me: “Ok mam.” (thinking *&^%^$&^$$@!#^*$@)

This was the conversation I had with my Level Administrator regarding my dockets (exam numbers, without them they won’t allow to sit for Final Exams) last semester. Everyday I went to meet the academic administrator, he was not in his seat or he was off for the day. 2 days before the exam the administrator told me that they wont issue dockets anymore.

Finally I never got my Marketing docket and I was blasted off by mom in the Arpico Super Centre for being so careless. The guy who was in charge the meat section asked me why my mom was scolding me so loudly. I felt soooo embarrassed….

Now I am suppose to pay LKR 18,000 to do my Marketing module again with attendance. This is so damn unfair because I heard that some students (one of them are my friends) got their dockets without even 10% attendance and they had not even appealed for their dockets. They had just gone and met the academic administrator and got their dockets.

The administrator wanted me to do Marketing this semester but the worst part is I couldn’t do it this semester as well coz I flunked 1module and the final exams of Marketing and that module are on the same day same time. This is my last semester of Diploma Level. Oh gosh life is getting messed up :( .

Now I am asked to take a semester break and do my Marketing module alone. Just to do 1 module I am asked to take a 3 months break and that is also because they didn’t let me do it (*!@*#%^&^#@). Its fine with me now coz I am hoping to take a huge break and get work experience. So I thought of doing the Marketing module part time. But is it fair for the students who are hoping to continue to Level 2 (degree 1st year) to take a semester break for just to complete *1 Module* ?

PS: at the moment I know that some students never go for lectures but they got 100% for all the modules. Thats because some hack into the attendance marking system and edit them, and the rest I have no idea.. :roll:

Dream Land May 30, 2008

Dreams.. I love to live with my dreams…. It makes me feel better, gives me everything and all what I cant get in my reality… I have no fear of loosing anything.. I dream the way I want because its my sleep… In case something uncontrollable happens in my dream I can always think that it just another nightmare.

I love dreaming of me flying and yes I can dream of it if i really want to dream about it :D . Sometimes I do write my dreams on a piece of paper (hard to find them coz I have no idea where I leave them) and my mom thinks that I am nuts…. But once I write it on a paper I remember it like forever and I can dream of it again and again.

Still I can remember the dreams I dreamed when I was small because most of the time I dreamed of flying. I dreamed flying away from the people who came to catch me and they had no flying ability… Also I can dream the same old dream again and again… It is soooo awesome… :D I think I have the ability of Lucid dreaming. :oops:

But when I realize that its just a dream it brings me pain because I know that some things I love to dream never come true and I always have the fear of loosing what I want :( . But no one can steal my things in my dreams. :)

My blog is deserted. I think I didn’t post anything for 2 and half months :-? and didn’t log into in for about 1 month :-? :-? . I hope to post an article very very very soon… As I told in my previous post, still I am drowned with problems and I am hoping to write them in my blog. For the moment I need some little more time because from one side I got Problems and the other side I am packed up with Assignments, Projects, Presentations and exams.. Soooo hopefully I will be posting a new article in 2 weeks time or most probably before that :-? .

PS: I had failed 2 modules last semester and I have to do my *best* this semester and repeat the 2 modules this semester too :cry: . So all together 7 modules this semester :cry: :cry: ..

I am totally lost…. I am having too many problems these days (Life is hard :| ). My mind is not calm to write anything on my blog :? and I am out of ideas toooo :cry: . So I thought that I should take a break for a while. Hope to post an article very soon :( .

Yesterday was the best day I ever had… Went out with some of my friends, my brother and Chanux and had fun ;) . But Poor Seejay Missed the Treat :P :lol: .

I will never forget my 20th Birth Day. It was soooooo special. I exceeded 1000 hits to my blog on my birth day :) . Now I will never forget the day I got 1000 hits to my blog ;) .

I got loads of birth day wishing from sooo many people too, thanks a lot for all of them. Never even imagined that my 20th birth day would be this great. :D Once again thanks a lot for all the wishing from everyone :) .

Its my birth day today. Now I am 20 years old. NO ones in front… Instead there are twos in front ;) . So I am not a KID anymore… :D :lol: Its going to be the happiest b’day I will ever have, I guess… ;)
