Combination of Coke/Pepsi and Mentos December 9, 2007

The pictures shown below are from a mail I received few days back. It says that never to eat Mentos (polo’s) and drink Coke/ Coke light or Pepsi because it might cause you death… This is a huge doubt to me because I do it most of the time 
.. So I wonder if it is true or false 
… If anyone knows about this, comments are mostly welcome. 
It isnt true.
The bottle explodes because the buildup is restricted by the bottle.
The cap cant “burp” like a human can.
On a side note, humans would burp or, in extreme cases, have a heart attack(years of holding in burps and farts)
